Voice to Parliament

As Australia is being asked on 14 October to consider a Voice to Parliament for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Teachers Health is formally supporting this important initiative. While we encourage everyone to seek the information they need to form their own views on the referendum, Teachers Health affirms its support for the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and its call for recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Australian constitution through the Voice to Parliament. The referendum on the Voice is a decision for the Australian people and accordingly we recognise and respect diverse views and experiences, including those of our employees, members, stakeholders and others associated with our company.
