Reconciliation – Our next step
Reconciliation is a journey, and at Teachers Health, we’re committed to walking that path with purpose. Our new Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is the next step in working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to foster understanding and drive change.
Our Journey Towards Reconciliation (so far…)
In 2021, we developed our Reflect RAP - laying the foundations for reconciliation within our organisation. This involved building relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and identifying where we could make the most meaningful impact within our sphere of influence.
Today, we take this vision further with our Innovate RAP. This phase focuses on strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and implementing strategies for deeper reconciliation commitments.
Our Innovate RAP
Our Innovate RAP expands on our Reflect RAP experiences and achievements, enhancing First Nations engagement, community connections, internal education, and governance.
Achievements of our Reflect RAP
We’re proud of what we achieved from our Reflect RAP and we’re looking forward to building on those foundations and continuing to listen, learn and act as we proceed with our Innovate RAP.
